Stanley Kubrick

In just 13 films and nearly 50 years of career, Kubrick has posed the genre in all the major themes of cinema.

War, horror, violence, peplum, mafia, period film, science fiction, love, sex, lust. There was only the western to which he did not touch.

Many directors admire and revere him, all aware that they cannot match him and leave him up there alone, but his work remains there, to be seen and reviewed indefinitely.
